Numakers PLA Wood

Description

Numakers PLA Wood, is a specialty filament made from 25 % recycled wood fiber blended with 75 % virgin PLA. It produces prints that look, feel, and even smell like real wood, with a slightly textured matte finish and minimal warping.

This composite material is ideal for artistic, decorative, or display-grade projects where you want a natural, handcrafted aesthetic.

Key Advantages:

• Realistic wood appearance and texture
• Mild woody aroma during printing
• Virtually warp-free and easy to print
• Excellent layer adhesion and surface finish

Limitations:

• More brittle than standard PLA
• Slight nozzle wear over time (recommended ≥ 0.5 mm brass or hardened nozzle)
• Not intended for load-bearing parts

⚠️ Note for Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini Users:
Wood-filled PLA may not feed reliably due to the extruder design. We recommend using other printer models for best results.
